On February 27 and 28, 2017, LICOGIMEC’s representatives participated in the "2^nd Working Meeting on Education and Training Program Development Project for Foreign Construction Workers Acceptance Program". Project aims to redesign the TITP’s education and training program to attain a higher technical level and increase workers who contribute to their home country after returning.

    The meeting will be held at 10: 00 am on 27- 28 February 2017, in the CEO Tower  at Pham Hung Street in Ha Noi. From the Japanese side, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Japan (MLIT), including Japanese construction companies : Sumitomo Forestry , Jellyfish HR, Mukai Construction... The Vietnamese side was represented by Vietnam Real Estate Association (VNREA),  and CEOs Service Development., JSC , Vinaconex Trading & Manpower., JSC, LICOGI Corporation JSC and other companies.

   Day 1:  Share result of previous discussions.
                 Agree on the modifications to the Education and training program.
                 Share modifications to process chart / textbook discussed in Japan WG2
                  Discuss feasibility of above and finalize/ agree on the modifications
 
    Day 2:  Agree on Japan’s options for support to retain trainees in the local construction industry.
                 Confirm local career paths understood in Overseas WG
                 Discuss support local companies would like to receive
                 Agree on Japan’s options for support which are feasible at present
                 Discuss needs related to the above
