LICOGI Corporation’s delegates visiting Japan
Implementing the HR development program for the construction industry between the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam (MoC) and the Ministry of Land - Infrastructure - Transport - Tourism Japan (MLIT). In 5 days (from September 19 to 23), LICOGI Corp. - JSC sent a delegation led by Mr. Duong Xuan Quang - Chairman of BOD and General Director to Japan to work with MLIT, Japanese Construction Associations and construction enterprises. LICOGI-MEC’s delegates are included.
On September 19 and 20, the meetings between LICOGI’s delegates and Japan Earth Moving Constructors Association (JEMCA), the Japan Foundations Engineering Association and the Japan Construction Industry Promotion Fund (FCIP) were held. During the meeting with JEMCA, the two sides exchanged views on the Policy of receiving trainees under new Japanese licensing law, which was effective from November 2017. At the meeting with the Japan Foundations Engineering Association, Mr. Yasutaka Ogata - General Director of the Association shared that he was very impressed by LICOGI workers working at Yoshioka Construction Company - a member of the Association.

Mr. Uchida - Chairman of Fund for Construction Industry Promotion (FCIP) highly appreciated Vietnamese construction workers in general and LICOGI workers in particular, who were very diligent, creative at work and very eager to learn. FCIP is currently managing LICOGI trainees working at Japanese construction sites. Photo: Meeting between LICOGI and FCIP On September 21st, LICOGI delegates visited and discussed with Sentan Center of Construction Technology - MLIT. Mr. Fujimori - Director of SENTA directly welcomed LICOGI delegates. At the meeting, both sides discussed new construction technologies Japan. In the near future, SENTA will hold a workshop on application of Japanese construction technology in Hanoi.
Photo: Meeting between LICOGI and SENTA LICOGI delegates visited Mizutani Company, Nikki Construction JSC, Mukai construction Company and Nihon Rock. They are recipients of LICOGI trainees to work in. At the meeting between LICOGI delegates and Mizutani Company, Mr. Hideo Mizutani – Deputy Director being in charge of international business – shared that at this moment, 43 LICOGI workers were working at Mizutani and they planned to receive more 46 LICOGI workers. These workers shall work to recover areas, which were destroyed by earthquake in Kumamoto. At the end of 2017, Mizutani shall commence the construction of high way in Madagasca and expected to receive more LICOGI workers to work for this project.

On September 20th, the delegation visited and met with Deputy Minister of MLIT - Mr. Kazuhiko Aoki. Mr. Duong Xuan Quang - Head of the delegation reported to the Deputy Minister the results of meetings between LICOGI delegates, Japanese associations and construction enterprises. LICOGI will continue to connect and develop relationships with Japanese construction partners. Deputy Minister – Mr. Kazuhiko Aoki said that during his recent visit to the earthquake area in Kumamoto, he met and talked with Vietnamese construction workers who were working here. He appreciated the working spirit of Vietnamese workers, he supported the reception of more Vietnamese workers by Japanese construction companies.
